Innovative Baker

There has been one thing that I have loved since I have been young, and that is sweets. I have the biggest sweet tooth ever. Ever since I was very young I loved to watch my mother and grandmother make and bake sweets. I even asked for an easy bake oven, although it definitely did not make things very well. As I got older I was able to help my mom or grandma out more with the baking. Then I started to try baking by myself. I sure had my ups and downs. I read recipes wrong, over baked or under baked things, my original recipes did not turn out as great as I would have hoped. But practice makes perfect and I became the baker of the family.

As the baker of the family I had to be innovative, try new recipes, new ideas and new baking utensils. As much as I like to make fun of infomercials, when it comes to baking, sometimes they have some really great products. One of my first purchases was called a "Bake'n Fill". What this product did was allow you to bake a whole in the middle of a cake so that you can put frosting, ice cream, another flavor of cake, jello, or whatever you wanna put in the middle of the cake. So when people would slice your  cake open they would be so joyful over how your amazing cake had a inside full of surprises. It had a round pan where you would put batter in to a certain point. Then you would cover it with a pan that had an indent in it. This would cause a hole in the cake. Then there was just a flat round pan that would be used for the bottom of the cake. That way whatever was in the middle wouldn't come out. This amazing product allowed the baker in me to flourish. I experimented with many combinations of cake and potential middles. Some came out amazing while others were not the best ideas.

It was amazing what this product did for me. It made me feel like a true baker. It helped established my reputation as not only the baker in the family but a really great one at that. This was just one of many purchases that have helped me stay an innovative baker. From an easy bake oven to my Bake'n Fill. I've gotten to find and use products that help me develop secret recipes that for now I am keeping to myself. It is amazing what one product can do. It even started a tradition for me to try and bake something new for every family gathering. Without it, and other products, I may not have become the baker I am today.
